Mia Tripi

Senior Client Director

Hi! I’m Mia. (Pronounced like Mia Hamm, rather than Maya Angelou.)

Milwaukee is home to me. It’s a special place – full of hard-working people, untapped potential, and cultural gems. Working at Mueller Communications allows me to benefit my hometown by supporting local companies and organizations with coworkers who care about the causes we help represent.

Though I cannot imagine any other career for myself, I arrived at communications in a roundabout way. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve always loved connecting with people and hearing their stories, but I never thought of it as a job. In fact, I went to Marquette University to study political science. I wanted to be a “problem solver.”

While I didn’t end up working in government, that innate determination and problem-solving nature has served me well anyway. It’s another reason I love working at Mueller. Every day, and every client, presents new problems to solve and new fields to learn about.

I may love Milwaukee, but I also love to travel. I collect postcards from each new place I visit and try pizzas absolutely everywhere. I’m on the search for the perfect slice, and I’d love to hear your suggestions!
