My name is Kat Best, and I am a Senior Client Manager, primarily focusing on the digital marketing and development landscape. I often joke that I am a Jack of All Trades, Master of Some because I am curious by nature and a life-long learner (AKA a nerd).
I always knew I wanted to be in the communications field because of my love of reading and writing. I started out in journalism, but that soon became public relations where I could be the story crafter instead of just the story writer. This eventually led me to account management and digital marketing, where I could combine my curiosity and constant thirst for knowledge with crafting stories.
My favorite part of what I do is translating a client’s business wants and needs into a strategic, digital story – anything from an email journey to a killer website or app. I especially enjoy when a digital story involves a creative solutions that leverage my own and my team members’ skills.
