Web & SEO Associate

Mueller Communications, a well-established and highly regarded communications and marketing firm, is looking to add a Web & SEO Associate to its talented team of professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to support our Web & SEO team with executing routine website updates, SEO, and project management of website builds. We’re not looking for someone highly technical but our ideal candidate is experienced enough in front-end building to properly account for project needs and holding contributors accountable.

Our clients have high expectations and we are looking for another A-player to join us in exceeding those expectations. We take a collaborative problem-solving approach and this position is ideal for someone who is able to work a hybrid schedule in Milwaukee and enjoys being part of close-knit teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Reporting and data analysis for websites and SEO
  • Project management of new website builds
  • Sitemap, information architecture, and user experience strategy
  • Basic front-end website development using page builders and no-code platforms
  • Ad-hoc website updates and troubleshooting
  • Website migrations, hosting, and maintenance
  • Website and SEO audits
  • SEO strategy and implementation
  • Website quality assurance and testing
  • Administrative tasks related to website account management

QUALIFICATIONS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with managing websites and implementing SEO
  • Proficiency in platforms like WordPress, Wix, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Semrush, and more
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior agency experience a plus
  • Local to Milwaukee and able to work a hybrid schedule
