Who WE Are
Mueller Communications’ mission is to provide our clients access to a team of the best communicators and strategic problem-solvers around.

What’s something that people might not know about you?
At age four, I broke my leg doing taekwondo. I was so adamant in my goal to remain mobile while wearing my cast that the hospital's therapists gave in and taught me how to use crutches, despite my young age.

I Am Malala
Hi! I’m Mia. (Pronounced like Mia Hamm, rather than Maya Angelou.)
Milwaukee is home to me. It’s a special place – full of hard-working people, untapped potential, and cheese curds. Working at Mueller Communications allows me to benefit my hometown by supporting local companies and organizations with coworkers who care about the causes we help represent.
Though I cannot imagine any other career for myself, I arrived at communications in a roundabout way. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve always loved connecting with people and hearing their stories, but I never thought of it as a job. In fact, I went to Marquette University to study political science. I wanted to be a “problem solver.”
While I didn’t end up working in government, that innate determination and problem-solving nature has served me well anyway. It’s another reason I love working at Mueller. Every day, and every client, presents new problems to solve and new fields to learn about.
I may love Milwaukee, but I also love to travel. I collect coasters and postcards from each new place I visit and try pizzas absolutely everywhere. I’m on the search for the perfect slice, and I’d love to hear your suggestions!
