Hey there, I’m Laura Keller (formerly Podewils), and I am the Senior Creative Manager here at Mueller Communications. At work, you’ll find me immersed in the Adobe Creative Suite, and at home, my husband has finally run out of spots to hide the paintbrushes!
I have always been passionate about creativity, design and storytelling, so the communications industry was a natural fit for me. I am a proud graduate of Marquette University and the collaborative study program with the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD).
Being an agency girl and a Marquette alumnus, I immediately felt at home when I started at Mueller. My role here is to help tell clients’ stories in a visually beautiful way that enhances the public relations strategy we are implementing. As a part of our client teams, I work on everything from social media graphics to multifaceted collateral pieces to brand identity creation to website development and beyond. You never know what the day will bring to this firm, and that is what makes it such a fun place to work.
I love that we are always thinking creatively and strategically to deliver the best communication plan possible. Mueller is very involved in the Milwaukee community, and it feels great to be a part of a company that is working to make a difference in the city I love so much.
Outside of work I spend my time cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Nashville Predators! I am a big sports gal, whether it is playing or watching. Don't let my size fool you – I have a mean overhand serve, a killer golf swing and can throw a tight spiral (although my blocking skills are something to be desired). I also love crafting and have started dabbling in artsy baking.
