Illuminate Brilliant Futures: Lumin's New Strategic Plan

Project Overview

Since its founding, LUMIN Schools has stood at the forefront of educational innovation. As one of the nation’s first Private School Management Organizations (PSMOs), LUMIN embraces a culture of continuous improvement to provide exceptional educational experiences for students. LUMIN believes in empowering and equipping students for a life of continuous learning, faith-filled living, and servant leadership in their families, communities and careers.

The Challenge

LUMIN leadership had a grand vision to incorporate vocation-based education into their strategic plan, curriculum and programming. A lofty goal that required internal and external support. LUMIN needed a team to turn their vision into an engaging, branded strategic plan, supported by messaging and a comprehensive rollout to inspire internal and external stakeholders to make the vision a reality.

The Solution

LUMIN engaged Mueller Communications to bring LUMIN leaderships’ vision to life through visuals, messaging, materials and an implementation plan for internal and external audiences. Mueller brainstormed “ilLUMINate: Brilliant Futures” and created associated branding and messaging. 

To effectively communicate the new strategic plan to the LUMIN Schools community, Mueller developed and designed key rollout materials, beginning with a deep understanding of Lumin’s mission, values, and desired impact. 

Mueller crafted compelling and impactful materials for staff, families and external supporters that effectively communicated the strategic plan’s vision and goals. This included developing key messages, drafting a letter to LUMIN staff, creating a concise and informative presentation, designing a “Lumin at a Glance” fact sheet, and producing a visually appealing and comprehensive strategic plan document with a newly developed brand identity. Additionally, Mueller designed a concise strategic plan fact sheet for easy dissemination and understanding. Many materials were created in both English and Spanish.
