Senior-Level Public Relations Associate

Mueller Communications, a well-established and highly regarded communications and marketing firm is looking to meet experienced senior-level candidates to add to its talented team of professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead external and internal teams, develop strategy and manage teams to execute; participate in new business development efforts; and counsel clients through communications challenges from crises to product launches to awareness-building campaigns. It offers strong potential to grow within the company.
Responsibilities will include developing and managing communications campaigns, including:
Developing effective communications solutions to address client challenges;
Demonstrating impact and effectiveness of communications strategies;
Project and team management;
Assisting account staff with client-related tasks such as monitoring media coverage, drafting news releases, research, special event planning and developing marketing and communications materials.
A successful candidate should have 5+ years of experience, a professional image and demeanor, positive, problem-solving attitude, strong writing and management skills, a desire to work with a team – sometimes beyond the normal 9 to 5 - and an eagerness to learn. As team culture is important to us, candidates must demonstrate a desire to teach and mentor junior staff and promote positivity and team mentality. Prior agency and/or media experience is preferred.
