Hey there! I’m Mark Curran, from Mauston, Wisconsin - a small town that I’m fairly certain inspired most of John Mellencamp’s musical stylings. After graduating from Marquette University in 2019 with degrees in Corporate Communications (for my career) and History (for my nerdom), I practiced freelance public relations and entered the PR agency world through a prior internship. I’ve always had my sights set on Mueller, so I couldn’t be more thrilled that I found my way here!
After moving to Milwaukee for college, I quickly fell in love with the city and it’s affinity for brats, basketball and unusually-niche festivals (looking at you, Garlic Fest). This passion makes Mueller and its Milwaukee- and Wisconsin-centric roster of clients a perfect fit for me. I’m proud to be part of an agency that uplifts the organizations, people and places that make our community special.
Outside of the office, you can find me biking around the city, but you probably can’t find me practicing my other passion: wilderness hiking! My hiking bucket-list includes the Appalachian, Pacific Coast and John Muir Trails. When people ask me, “what’s so great about walking around in the woods?” I always reply, “The stars, clear mind, and just how good that first hamburger’s going to taste when I return to civilization.”
