When Dean A. Strang, Madison-based lawyer and former trial attorney for Steven Avery, was thrust into the spotlight with the docuseries “Making a Murderer” on Netflix, Mueller Communications was engaged to coordinate media relations and speaking engagements due to the public frenzy that ensued. 

 

Over the course of 2016, Mueller Communications worked to coordinate over 90 interviews with publications and entities such as The Wall Street Journal, Nightline NBC, The Guardian, Forbes.com, The Dr. Phil Show, The Huffington Post and more. Additionally, the team worked to plan over 154 speaking engagements across the country, as well as major speaking tours in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Australia and multiple Canadian provinces.

Mueller Communications continues to work with Dean to coordinate speaking engagements with bar associations, universities and other justice-affiliated organizations.
