Challenge
UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin enlisted Mueller Communications to educate the media and Wisconsin consumers about the company’s local efforts to keep health care affordable and make the system run more efficiently. The goal has been to shift the public perception with regard to health care insurers through earned media placements and other marketing communications outreach efforts.
Solution
Mueller Communications coordinates a statewide media monitoring system, allowing the agency to discuss relevant follow up and pitches with the media in a timely fashion. Based on these opportunities, the agency formulates targeted media pitches and opinion editorial pieces intended to keep UnitedHealthcare in the forefront of Wisconsin consumers’ minds.
