Phill L. Trewyn

Mr. Phill Trewyn is an Account Executive at Mueller Communications, Inc. (MCI). His responsibilities include planning and executing a variety of client activities, including media outreach strategies, events and promotions, handling media inquiries, writing and editing client material and assisting in the research and development of proposals to new client prospects.

Mr. Trewyn’s client work has included developing media and community outreach strategies for health care systems in southeast Wisconsin, the largest health insurer in Wisconsin, one of the state’s largest law firms as well as a major retail center in the Milwaukee area. He has earned several awards for media outreach tactics executed for a local law firm seeking to raise the profile of its individual attorneys as well as for a local health care system seeking to position itself as a leader in providing efficient, cost-effective and quality care.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Mr. Trewyn worked in the newspaper business for 15 years in a number of different reporting and editing positions, covering everything from sports to local government. His last position before joining the Mueller team was as a reporter with The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee where he covered health care, technology and small business.

Mr Trewyn serves as a member of the Community Service Committee for the Public Relations Society of America Southeast Wisconsin chapter. He also a member of the Milwaukee Press Club.

Mr. Trewyn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in journalism and is a native of the Milwaukee area.
