Natalie Emmer

Ms. Natalie A. Emmer is an assistant account executive at Mueller Communications, Inc. (MCI). Her responsibilities include supporting the firm's client teams by drafting and editing communications materials, assisting with media relations and event planning, and coordinating marketing and public affairs efforts.

Ms.Emmer joined the MCI team in January of 2010 as an intern, and commenced full time employment with the firm following her spring 2010 graduation from Marquette University. Over the course of her work at MCI, Ms. Emmer has developed a keen interest in cultivating effective relationships with media, networking and applying critical thinking and problem solving skills to drive awareness of client ventures. She credits her time with the firm for helping her to develop a firm foundation of public relations know-how as well as widen her lens of the greater Milwaukee business community.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Ms. Emmer served a short stint as a co-contributor toThreads, the fashion blog she helped launch for Milwaukee'sThird Coast Digest. She also held an internship with the Milwaukee Press Club(MPC), in which she worked closely with the executive and administrative staff to help plan and coordinate MPC-sponsored events, including the 2010 Milwaukee City Birthday Party. She remains an active member of the Milwaukee Press Club.

Ms.Emmer graduated from Marquette Universitymagna cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, with a minor in English. On campus, Ms. Emmer was active on the Diederich College of Communication Student Council, serving as vice president from 2008-09, as well as with theMarquette Journal, a campus magazine. She deems her summer semester spent in Italy as her best college experience.

Ms. Amelia Venegas is the Director of First Impressions at Mueller Communications, Inc. (MCI), serving as the first contact in the office and on the telephone. She provides administrative support to the client team and assists the Director of Administrative Services with billing.

Ms. Venegas graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. She completed Spanish studies abroad in Costa Rica and served as a volunteer for the UWM Women’s Resource Center. She currently is a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Milwaukee, as well as an intern at the Racine Zoological Society where she assists with marketing, special event planning and fundraising.

Originally from Racine, Wis., Amelia currently resides in Milwaukee. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events, concerts, traveling and spending time with her family.
