Darcie L. Hartford

Ms. Darcie L. Hartford is the Director of Client Services for Mueller Communications, Inc. (MCI.) Her responsibilities include ensuring quality and consistency in client services across the agency and she also serves as a resource for existing and potential new clients. She manages several internal teams to create and execute marketing and public relations strategies for a diverse client portfolio.

Her agency experience has been developed through the successful execution and management of a variety of client accounts requiring expertise in media and community relations, crisis communications and public affairs strategies. Projects have included a comprehensive marketing strategy for the City of Glendale, media relations efforts for clients in the financial services, healthcare and tourism industries across several states, developing and executing crisis communications strategies and tactics for local banking institutions and training executives to prepare for interviews and speak with the media.

Ms. Hartford has earned honors for her media and community relations efforts for the Grand Re-opening of Bayshore Town Center, including a Clarion Award from the Association of Women in Communications and a Paragon award from the Public Relations Society of America.

Prior to joining MCI, Ms. Hartford’s experience includes work with a Chicago-based agency specializing in film publicity, coordinating promotional efforts of several major film studios and managing special events and promotional press screenings. As an intern with a radio station in Indiana, she assisted the sales and promotional departments with the implementation of sales and marketing strategies including research and presentations, drafting commercial copy and facilitating promotional events and contests as a representative of the radio station.

Ms. Hartford graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications and minor in business. She is active in the Public Relations Society of America – Southeast Wisconsin chapter and l’Alliance Française de Milwaukee and lives in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward with her husband.
