Promotions Of Darcie Hartford And Elizabeth Kelly

Milwaukee - Mueller Communications, Inc. (MCI) announced today that Darcie Hartford has been promoted to Director of Client Services and Elizabeth Kelly has been promoted to Assistant Account Executive.

Ms. Hartford was promoted from Account Executive to Director of Client Services. In her new role, Ms. Hartford is responsible for ensuring quality and consistency in client services across the agency and serves as a resource for clients.

Ms. Hartford has been with Mueller Communications for more than four years, most recently serving as an Account Executive. Her agency experience has been developed through the successful execution and management of a variety of client accounts requiring expertise in media and community relations, crisis communications and public affairs strategies. Ms. Hartford has earned honors for her media and community relations efforts for the Grand Re-opening of Bayshore Town Center, including a Clarion Award from the Association of Women in Communications and a Paragon award from the Public Relations Society of America. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications and a minor in business.

As Assistant Account Executive, Ms. Kelly’s responsibilities include the management of internal teams and creating and executing results-oriented marketing, public relations and integrated communications plans. Ms. Kelly also coordinates and conducts public affairs strategies and community and public awareness campaigns for Mueller Communications’ diverse client portfolio.

Since joining Mueller Communications nearly two years ago, Ms. Kelly has received valuable experience, most recently serving as an Account Coordinator. Her experience has included drafting and editing communications materials, assisting with media relations and event planning, coordinating marketing and public affairs efforts, and coordinating grassroots support for major client activities. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a degree in communication arts.

Jill Devaney, Elizabeth A. Kelly, and Nicole M. Pierski

Milwaukee - Mueller Communications, Inc. announced today that Jill Devaney, Elizabeth A. Kelly and Nicole M. Pierski will join the Mueller Communications team. In this new role their responsibilities will include supporting the firm’s client teams by drafting and editing communication materials, assisting with media relations and event planning and coordinating marketing and public affairs efforts.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Ms. Devaney gained valuable experience in a marketing and communications internship for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. She focused specifically on the recently opened Harley-Davidson Museum. In that role, Ms. Devaney planned, implemented and supported marketing efforts for various components of the Museum including employee recruitment, programming, membership and the restaurant and café. Ms. Devaney also worked with the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau on the preparation and execution of the 2006 Torch Awards for Business Ethics. Ms. Devaney earned a degree in public relations and advertising from Marquette University.

Ms. Kelly previously served as the project manager for downtown Milwaukee’s Business Improvement District (BID). During her time with the BID, Ms. Kelly worked with numerous business owners in the community and assisted in coordinating events such as Downtown Dining Week and Downtown Employee Appreciation Week. Additionally, Ms. Kelly gained valuable experience as an intern for 89.9 WORT, Madison, Wisconsin’s listener supported radio station. Ms. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in communication arts.

Ms. Pierski previously served as a communications assistant for the New York County Lawyers’ Association. In that role, Ms. Pierski helped plan and carry out event marketing strategies, conducted media outreach and assisted with drafting and editing communications materials and articles for the association’s monthly newsletter. Ms. Pierski earned a degree in journalism and European studies from New York University.
