Mueller Communications, Inc. Announces Promotion of Natalie Emmer, Megan Durbin

Milwaukee - Mueller Communications, Inc. announced today that Natalie Emmer has been promoted to assistant account executive; Megan Durbin has been promoted to account coordinator.

Building upon her experience as an account coordinator, Ms. Emmer's responsibilities have expanded to include assisting with development and execution of strategic communications plans and supporting the coordination of public relations campaigns, including performing media relations, event planning and market research tasks. In her new position, Ms. Emmer will also play a key role in ensuring the attainment of client goals for Mueller Communications' diverse client portfolio.

Prior to joining MCI as a full-time team member, Ms. Emmer interned for the firm, allowing her to gain valuable public relations experience. She also worked as an intern with the Milwaukee Press Club (MPC), where she worked closely with the executive and administrative staff to help plan and coordinate MPC-sponsored events, including the 2010 Milwaukee City Birthday Party.

As an account coordinator, Ms. Durbin will work with the firm's client teams to draft and edit communications materials, assist with media relations and event planning, and coordinate marketing and public affairs efforts.

Prior to joining MCI, Ms. Durbin worked at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (St. John's), where she assisted with the Academy's marketing, communication and photography efforts. Prior to her position at St. John's, she held an internship at Diversey, Inc., assisting with marketing efforts for one of the company's acquired small businesses.

Jill Devaney, Elizabeth A. Kelly, and Nicole M. Pierski

Milwaukee - Mueller Communications, Inc. announced today that Jill Devaney, Elizabeth A. Kelly and Nicole M. Pierski will join the Mueller Communications team. In this new role their responsibilities will include supporting the firm’s client teams by drafting and editing communication materials, assisting with media relations and event planning and coordinating marketing and public affairs efforts.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Ms. Devaney gained valuable experience in a marketing and communications internship for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. She focused specifically on the recently opened Harley-Davidson Museum. In that role, Ms. Devaney planned, implemented and supported marketing efforts for various components of the Museum including employee recruitment, programming, membership and the restaurant and café. Ms. Devaney also worked with the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau on the preparation and execution of the 2006 Torch Awards for Business Ethics. Ms. Devaney earned a degree in public relations and advertising from Marquette University.

Ms. Kelly previously served as the project manager for downtown Milwaukee’s Business Improvement District (BID). During her time with the BID, Ms. Kelly worked with numerous business owners in the community and assisted in coordinating events such as Downtown Dining Week and Downtown Employee Appreciation Week. Additionally, Ms. Kelly gained valuable experience as an intern for 89.9 WORT, Madison, Wisconsin’s listener supported radio station. Ms. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in communication arts.

Ms. Pierski previously served as a communications assistant for the New York County Lawyers’ Association. In that role, Ms. Pierski helped plan and carry out event marketing strategies, conducted media outreach and assisted with drafting and editing communications materials and articles for the association’s monthly newsletter. Ms. Pierski earned a degree in journalism and European studies from New York University.
