Marie Maas, Erin Gannon and Ale Owens promotion

Milwaukee - Mueller Communications, Inc. announced today that Marie L. Maas has been promoted to account executive. Erin K. Gannon and Ale B. Owens have been promoted to account coordinators.

Building upon her experience as an assistant account executive, Ms. Maas’ responsibilities have expanded to include the management of several internal teams to create and execute results-oriented marketing, public relations and integrated communications plans. Ms. Maas also coordinates and conducts public affairs strategies and community and public awareness campaigns for a diverse client portfolio.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Ms. Maas served as the marketing manager for the Wisconsin Innovation Center where she consulted entrepreneurs and small business executives regarding new product and market development decisions. In this role, she was a featured speaker at national and regional conferences on business innovation as well as a guest lecturer for several universities. She holds a degree in business management and marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

As account coordinators, Ms. Gannon and Ms. Owens will be responsible for supporting the firm’s client teams by drafting and editing communications materials, assisting with media relations and event planning, and coordinating marketing and public affairs efforts.

Ms. Gannon began her career as a freelance writer and editor for several area publications and businesses where she obtained first-hand experience with the media, both writing and pitching stories. Ms. Gannon graduated from St. Norbert College with a degree in English. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in English and professional writing from Mount Mary College.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Ms. Owens gained valuable public relations and event coordination experience working with the Indiana University Student Foundation. She assisted with special event planning, community outreach and media relations. She holds a degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations and advertising from Indiana University-Bloomington.
