Annie Nolan and Marie Maas promotion

Milwaukee - Mueller Communications, Inc. announced today that Marie L. Maas and Annie M. Nolan have been promoted to the positions of Assistant Account Executive and Account Coordinator, respectively.

Ms. Maas, a native of Fox Valley and currently a resident of Milwaukee, was promoted from the position of Account Coordinator to Assistant Account Executive. In her new role, Ms. Maas will be responsible for assisting with development and execution of strategic communications plans, supporting the coordination of public relations campaigns, including performing media relations, event planning and market research tasks, as well as ensuring the attainment of client goals.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Ms. Maas served as the marketing manager for the Wisconsin Innovation Center. Throughout her three years with the organization, she worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and small businesses, providing marketing research data and consulting services which enabled clients to make more profitable new product and market development decisions. As part of this role, she was a featured speaker at a National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators conference in San Diego, a guest lecturer for several universities and a speaker at various other conferences across the Midwest. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with degrees in marketing and business management.

As Account Coordinator, Miss Nolan’s responsibilities will include supporting the firm’s client teams by drafting and editing communications materials, assisting with media relations and event planning, and coordinating marketing and public affairs efforts.

Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Miss Nolan gained valuable public relations experience as field director for a political campaign where she was responsible for media monitoring, grassroots outreach and volunteer coordination within her assigned county, and organizing various coalitions and press conferences throughout the district. Miss Nolan is a resident of Whitefish Bay and holds degrees in advertising, public relations, and political science from Marquette University.
